We are coming together to fill a closet with school supplies, meal options and other necessities to assist Cooley students who may not have everything a student needs for success. These items will be available to students of need on a controlled basis, overseen by the front office. The Cobra Closet especially needs individually wrapped snacks and small bottled waters at this time. You can bring any donations to Attendance in the front office. Many thanks!
We hope your family had a wonderful summer break and it has been a smooth transition back to school. If you are a new family, welcome to Cooley and we hope you will join us in supporting your student’s education. Thank you to everyone who has already joined the Cooley Parent Teacher Club. In 2016-2017 we invested over $30K into Cooley students and staff with the acquisition of new technology, classroom supplies and enrichment materials, campus improvements, and the 8th grade promotion party.
If you meant to join, but haven’t yet it’s not too late. You may join online, or turn in the membership form with a check to the front office. 8th grade families who join the “Deluxe Family Membership” will also receive 2 VIP seats to the 8th grade promotion ceremony. Thank you for continuing to invest in your children and their school.
And the Lucky Membership Winners Are…
Thank you and Congratulations to Shelley Wright (Basic Membership) and Lindsay McNally (Family Membership) for winning the Starbucks gift card drawings for joining Cooley PTC during Cooley Check In Days.
You’ve heard the rumors…and they are all true! High School Musical is coming to Cooley. If your student is interested in being a part of our school production, please plan to attend the parent meeting on Thursday, September 21 at 6:30 p.m. in the library.
Please join us for the first PTC meeting of the year on Wednesday, September 13 at 6:30 p.m. in the Cooley Library. Thank you to our volunteer board members for their service. All parents are welcome to attend to help set our priorities for the year ahead, and learn how Cooley PTC enhances staff’s and your student’s experience at Cooley. Can’t make it it this meeting? See our future meeting dates.
Our school counselor could use some extra school supplies for some of her students and their activities. If you are able to donate any of the following, please send them into the front office with your student in a bag for “counseling.” Thank you!
- colored pencils
- black sharpies
- construction paper
